All King Bladud's Pigs have now been auctioned.
The first 75 were sold in a grand gala auction at the Assembly Rooms in Bath, on 31st October 2008. The remaining 33 (including two white ones!) were sold in a subsequent online auction from this website. Altogether, the project raised £200,000 for the Two Tunnels project, see www.twotunnels.org.uk.
Pigsaw - our own, non-sponsored pig - decorated by children who came to see our workshop - was raffled. He used to stand in whenever our "official" pigs needed a hospital visit. He was much loved and climbed on and a little faded. But 1500 people bought a ticket to have a chance to win this last pig.
The BIG DRAW was on Monday 15th December at 6 pm at Waterstones - with jazz singer Clare Teal doing the honours.
The winner was
Mike Watts - of the Guildhall Market - where you can still see Pigsaw on display - next to Juturna, the Guildhall Market's own pig which they bought back in the auction!
We understand Pigsaw is for sale! Contact us for more information.
